A well known shopping and eating area. Not too far from Notre Dame, just cross the bridge and you will come across St Michel Fountain. Stroll around the area which is not extremely extensive and you will find a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops. Price of souvenirs can be haggled especially if you buy a number of them. Shop around as quality and selections differ among shops. A good launching pad to fill your tummy before you tackle the road to Pantheon which is about 1 km away.
